Run: 908 Hare: Micheal Venue: Kinrara Cohares: ...

(No run report or pix - Holiday season - lah Saved by No Hair again - better late than never)

The run started with a walk on the yet to complete road and cut through the fences downhill towards the river. The trail was muddy and was greeted with some mumbles. We finally got into some thicker growths and No Hair was walking off paper on a path while the pack complained and Bulldozer was heard calling out “Dei, follow paper lah! Not follow people!”.

Kelam Kabut and guest Diam-Diam were on trail leading up a slippery slope while the rest was waiting in line for their turn. King Kong was about to queue and Diam-Diam was heard calling “Checking!!!”. Warranti was quick and ran back to where No Hair was to break the check. It was a climb that had guests Chap Mai and Ah Soon and Micheal gasping for air.

Upon reaching a clearing, the trail went on right and downhill instead of following the trail straight up. The runners came back up to the trail to meet Blood Donor, JPS and Micheal (SCBs) coming out of the 2nd check. Still continuing on the uphill trail, the check was broken. Finally, at the top junction, the 3rd check was broken easily towards a trail on the left. The remnants of Mother Hash papers got No Hair thinking that it was another grueling run following last 2 weeks’ run in Mother.

The trail brought the pack down, up and down again for a few cycles that almost everyone lost count on the hill climbs and downs but finally after crossing a creek the runners knew it was close but with a last hurdle, high climb to exit into the clearcuts just after the run site.

The hashers came in one after the other except for Angel, Kong and KFC that turned back. Most completed the run which had JPS drenched in sweat and Song Lau singing too. Hare Michael’s comment before the run was, “here? Where got hills?”, came back exhausted with Blood Donor. Tangki Air, Yee, Suck It were back huffing and puffing while Meow and Kwee Wong came in later.

Kiki was back earlier after went on trail late with Kilat and Short Circuit. Kilat was out but Short Circuit was not, so were GM King Kong and a guest, MC Chan. The 3 got back around 9pm!

Good weather FROP 1hr20mins

Run: 830 Hare: Michael Chin Venue: Bandar Technology Kajang SubCons: Abraham, RatTail

A small group went to get 'High' and show of our logo on top the highest peak in South East Asia, the Mount Kinabalu in Sabah.

A larger group went up north to recce a forth coming run, but more importantly the side attractions of a cross border run.

Then an unknown group probably just stayed home to avoid the haze which had enveloped the Klang valley the past week and which reached unhealthy levels in certain areas.

The small group going in So only about 30 members turned up at the usuall runsite near the shophouses. Another hash chapter, Kajang H3, was also runsited closeby, just further up near the factory lots. The rain earlier in the afternoon helped to clear the skies considerably to the pleasure of the hashers.

By the time, we hit the in-trail, KH3 being closer, had already disappeared along the trail. Meandering through the oil palm on the same trail with KH3, and just past the low cost flats, HLH4 came to a stop for the 1st check. This took a good 20 mins for the FROP to break. However, for those who went for a back check, it took a further 15 mins to follow through as there were no HLH4 connecting papers.

It was only realised then that the trail was the same with KH3. The papers then took both chapter hashers for short cum on the 'Whore's younger cousin. This was just a quickie and not enough. So as soon as the trail led down, it up again for another quickie. Still not satisfied, the papers circled this small hill to allow the hashers to lick up the spilled over cum.

Coming down and out from this double quickie, the 'Whore' waited for the more satisfying cum for the FRBs. From then on, it was the usual out trail with the FRB hitting home in 1hr 15mins while the back pack was out around 8pm.

Michael paying the cab fare On home, it was realised that the scheduled hare and Chu Lai, our beerman who has taken to running with us, were not out. They were last seen just before the 'Whore'.

At about 8.30pm, a taxi drove up and out stepped the hare and the beerman. Both of them ended up at Sg Tangkas to smell out an ex member, Sunder who now drives a cab, to drive them home.

Run: 762 Scheduled Hare: Michael Chin Venue: Broga SubCons: Showtime, Rolek

About 25 members turned up. On On sounded 5 mins late and the paper took the hashers on the trail that goes right (as one faces the temple). A good warm up before the first climb.

About twenty mins to the top where the 1st check was laid. Here at the top, 3 seasoned and long time running hashmen showed the two harriets who were behind them the correct trail and then they turned and SCBed.

The 1st check was broken on the right and the trail led all the way down. As expected, the paper across the ravine invited those who did not chicken out for theAmelia and Guat Ling on the viewing point 2nd ascend. This was a very tiring and exhausting 35 mins climb where the slope on some parts was near 60 degrees.

On the top at a height of about 240 metres, the papers swung left, with most members expecting another down and up. But how some were pleasantly surprised as this trail led to a very well upkept viewing point on the hilltop which overlooked the temple. From here the trail led on metal road all the way home.

On On onsite with pre-packed nasi lemah (santan rice) and lamb barbequed on site.

Waiting for the lamb Lamb being barbequed on site

When this scribe together with Samerican arrived for the run, H5 were just coming out. So we decided to do a reverse run. Going up on the bitumen road towards the famous temple and after passing it, turned left up the rubber.
We met the FROP coming down at the lallang patch on the hill. Reaching an elevation of about 287 metres, we met our GM who was on his way down. As it was about 7.30pm then, we decided to turn and hit home.

Down Down
The Box : "So how was the run?"
Some answers : "Oh vely long lun." "One hour going up up up and up, then backcheck and all the way down." "1st check go round in circles around the pond."

New Committee on downed.

Welcomed new boot, Yeong 'Joker' and rejoined, 'Leong Senior'.
