Run: 935 Hare: Song Lau Venue: Kesuma Lakes Cohares: Bulldozer, Guitarman
The show of support for the hare, Song Lau, was good – his birthday run! There were plenty of cars parked at the end of the road with the beer wagon loaded with the ‘good stuff’!
The run started a few minutes late as everyone was engrossed with chit-chats. A check was misleading after running towards the water tank but was broken by the back pack. After that it was so familiar in the OP! All the OP trees were the same height, same size with the terraces looking like almost the same!
There were few hills that we went up and down, there were checks that were difficult as they were long; some confusions over the hill checks as the runners were everywhere and calls were ‘clashing’ due to true trail calls and falsies.
It was the calm middle pack and the wise back pack that all were back to the run site in good time with none got lost! A run and chase that ended in about an hour that got everyone sweat by the tons!

Rehashed 20100612 Volunteer Song Lau
Run: 882 Hare: Song Lau (Volunteer) Venue: Kesuma Lakes Cohares: JPS, Guitarman

The run started a bit after 6 as all were too engrossed in the upcoming celebration run. It was towards the back of the construction site to the OP. Just minutes away was the 1st check passing the veggie farm, a falsie was laid to the west and the check was broken by going south.
I was running ahead in hope to sweat out the 2 weeks that I was absent from hashing and was running brainlessly that those behind saw me running into a circular check. Everyone was around in the OP looking for the paper. Another forward had Gigi Putih breaking it and was way in front.
I gave chase and KikiLala and Kilat was on hand to join in but left behind when going up some slopes. We were treated to some green views with cows herding in the open field and a loopy run had us back into the OP again. Another hill was waiting and a steep run downhill had the 3rd check evidently left.
A forward run further downhill where I met Gigi Putih running back empty handed and I went left to run in a bigger loop back to the open field to meet KikiLala just going uphill, Monster and me Mrs were wondering why I ran back. Dipstick yelled why I was running so slow as I was going towards the right and Kilat on the left.
I broke the check and it was an uphill run after the downhill, another uphill again to see the 4th check near a 3-way junction. The check was broken with a forward run by the middle pack and we were left far behind that we had some long chase before we were able to catch up. Me Mrs was running so far up front, too!.
The 5th check was on the direction that looked like a home trail and got us caught. A falsie that I found was on the same direction but wrong trail. As expected as we were heading towards the high tension pylon the paper was there and Bulldozer was the one broke the paper ‘head’ where we were some meters ahead.
Home trail was a good speedy run with Dipstick as we sped to get more sweat. We reached home in 1hr10mins whereas the last was before 7:45pm. Even KFC commented a good run! All the checks and falsies were good to get the packs together.
Iced:
Bruise Low - wanting to meet more beauties, hoping the coming Rotation Run by MKH4. CH4 also got mah!
Guitarman - wrong comment, wrong time
No Hair - Shanghai-ed and contracted 'Shanghai Rose'
King Kong - trying to prove a point by getting himself listed as 0% 'customer'
Bulldozer - 3rd runner, sure or not?
Beerman - under estimated HLH4's drinking abilities
Song Lau - oddman out
Kilat & Short Circuit - bringing a friend from Dengkil that is not bald ( friend drinking 'Diamond' water.....true?)
Monster - something with his thinking and action that had Advisor misled.
Food on site with Star Caterer....OnOnOn....Ah Wai Shop!

Run: 848 Hare: Song Lau Venue: Putrajaya Riverside SubCons: JPS, Kilat, Maria, Heny Soo
About 30 members and guests turned up for this run. Due to a lack of signatures, some members ended up at Alamanda, some at Dengkil and some even as far as KLIA.
The joke of the night was that, the our German and Korean friends managed to find the run site while the local members lost their way.
The hare had outsourced the laying of the trail to Thomas and Friends (JPS, Henry Soo and Maria), so many expected a short run. The run started on the right toward the bridge and all the way on flats till a housing settlement. From here, the papers took the hashers up the hill all the way to the rocky area.
From the top, the trail led down through some plantations and towards another housing settlement. Here a pack of dogs welcomed the runners just before the cross over the river. The home stretch was along the river all the way home.
The FRB, Kelam Kabut was out in about 55 mins.
The generous hare rewarded all completing the run with a T-shirt
As it was Deepavali, and after some light refreshment and clean up, the whole gang proceeded to Matahari's place in Dengkil for the circle and On ON. Reaching Sami's place, the group noted some members who did not turn up for the run tucking away and downing the golden fluid.
Circle was called to order by our Asst. On-sec, Lester ABC. No-wing Kim was iced for leaving his chair behind 2 weeks ago while his guest, Han, entertained the crowd with a Korean song.
After the sumptious ON ON of putumayan and nasi berani, followed with fried chicken wings (a No No for Kim) for supper, a small crowd gathered to try their luck during this festival celebration.

Run: 747 Hare: Song Lau Venue: Bandar Technology

Knowing it was Song Lau's run, a good many hashers wanted to come, but as the airfield at Bandar Tech was not large for the Airbus, a smaller group had to make do cumming in a 747.
As the pics uploaded to Picasa (see side bar for link - Update 16/11/07: Uploaded 12 more pic from Roger) would show, it was a great ON ON, cooked and dished out onsite.
Freebie - T-shirt
The members present also welcomed new boot Fong Siew who has been quite a regular guest for some time.

This is Philip, our new beerman whose ass will be on fire if the beers are not chilled enough for the thirsty hashers.
