Rehashed 20140614 Jessie

Run: 1091 Hare: Juicy Jessie Venue: Sri Haneco Cohares:

Run site at Sri Haneco Jalan Kacau

The hare obviously wanted to make sure that enough paper was laid to mark the trail, so again 9 ( nine) cohares were engaged in setting the run.

In-trail was along the football field, where the first check was found and quickly broken by Dipstick. The trail led into the rubber, passing a rubber tapper’s hut under construction. Further up reaching the Palm area a second check was broken to the left. From there the usual trail up all the way to almost the top of the hill, leading to the left out into the open space near a giant rock. Guitarman offered help to prevent the rock from rolling down so that myself could safely pass, thanks Guitarman!

A little bit of downhill running the next check was leading the front pack further down and broken finally uphill to the left. Back into the bushes the trail went all the way down to the construction site behind the fish ponds. Most runners familiar with the hometrail just went straight onto the tarmac road back to the runsite, only a few managed to see that the paper trail turned left and came back from the fishpond area.

Run was rated as ‘good run’, the hare provided plenty of snacks and food by onsite caterer.

Rehashed 20140607 SK

Run: 1090 Hare: SK Cheang Venue: Broga Rock Temple Cohares:

Run site at Broga Rock Temple

Two weeks back a run made it to HLH4’s ‘Book of Records’ with the most signboards ever, this time the hare Used 9 Cohares to set the run! Another record!

Luckily also some runners showed up as well, so the run could start 6 pm sharp.

Going out to the left strolled towards the orchard, where a first check was found and broken by Dipstick after a while. From there it was a steep climb straight up the hill, which made some runners stop to take a breath or to check on the durian trees.

Near the top of the hill a second check was broken to the right and from there it was an easy stroll all the way back to the runsite.

Run was short, it was said during the circle the first runner was out in less than 45 minutes and the hare was charged to reset a run within 8 weeks. Let’s see….
