Run No 688 Hare: Cat Venue: Pangsun
The heavy downpour that caused some flash floods in the Klang Valley earlier in the afternoon did not deter the 50 odd HLH4 members from turning up for this run. ON ON sounded on time and the trail led gently up the eroded FWD track that leads to Gunung Nuang. While H5 were struggling up, the FROP came to the 1st check which was about half way to the Nuang base camp. It was a back check to the left and the slippery trail led to the TNB site. From there the paper took the runners up to the stream where another check was laid. The two falsies and another back check kept the runners, minus H5, together. From then on it was a road run all the way home.

The hare had a few surprises for this 4km run. The first out on paper, the 7th runner and some others in between who picked up some litter left purposely by the hare received gifts. Even the last runner received a handsome prize, a well stocked First Aid Kit. Well the others were quite satisfied with their little blood donation to the hungry leeches.
