Rehashed 20140315 Pengsan

Run: 1078 Hare: Pengsan Venue: Gasing Hill Cohares: Munster, ...

Run site at Gasing Hill, Telekom Tower

After all the hazy days, the hare must have done something special, as the sky was bright and clear in the morning, good day to run!

Arrived early enough to get a convenient parking spot and got ready for the run. Surprisingly Bandit showed up in time before the run started. Having no excuse this time for not joining the run he brought his ‘better half’ along to blame it on her why he could not join the runners this time and had to do a ‘DIY’ walk with her. Smart bastard he is.

The paper led up the stairs along the temple, then down a steep slope where soon the first check was found. It was a backcheck broken to the left, paper found going down the hill and passing the Tenaga substation. The second check was there, broken after a while to the left, further down until the small stream was reached. Going left Kiki already smelled  the home direction, but was pulled along to follow the paper uphill just across the stream.

Almost at the top the trail went right, soon going down again to the water. Looping up, then to the left to the open space near the picnic spots, where the next climb was waiting. It was some good cardio uphill until reaching the top, from there slowly descending to the left and later coming to the next climb up to the outlook tower.

From there down 168 stairs down to the stream, paper led to the left until the final climb back to where the runsite was waiting. Nicely set run along Gasing Hill area by avoiding all the main paths.

Circle was held an guests from Medan ‘Full Charge’, ‘Half Charge’ and ‘No Charge’ were introduced.

OnOn at the restaurant nearby with plenty of food and beer to get everyone ‘charged’.
