Run: 1091 Hare: Juicy Jessie Venue: Sri Haneco Cohares:
Run site at Sri Haneco Jalan Kacau
The hare obviously wanted to make sure that enough paper was laid to mark the trail, so again 9 ( nine) cohares were engaged in setting the run.
In-trail was along the football field, where the first check was found and quickly broken by Dipstick. The trail led into the rubber, passing a rubber tapper’s hut under construction. Further up reaching the Palm area a second check was broken to the left. From there the usual trail up all the way to almost the top of the hill, leading to the left out into the open space near a giant rock. Guitarman offered help to prevent the rock from rolling down so that myself could safely pass, thanks Guitarman!
A little bit of downhill running the next check was leading the front pack further down and broken finally uphill to the left. Back into the bushes the trail went all the way down to the construction site behind the fish ponds. Most runners familiar with the hometrail just went straight onto the tarmac road back to the runsite, only a few managed to see that the paper trail turned left and came back from the fishpond area.
Run was rated as ‘good run’, the hare provided plenty of snacks and food by onsite caterer.
