Run: 1028 Virgin Hare: Ah Fatt Kuachi Venue: Broga Cohares:
For this run two things were for sure:
First, plenty of climbs during the run. Broga!
Secondly, Bandit surely not showing up, still traumatized after being tricked during setting last week’s run!
And so it was.
OnOn was called at 6 pm and the runners left the nice compound to the right on the street and at the first restaurant turned left on the path along the fence. Still in warming-up mode, a lot of chitchatting was going on and the front-chatters did not bother about paper, missed the turn to the right.
Calling them back on trail the paper led to the steep climb at the gravel road all the way up to the top. A first check was quickly broken to the right, going downhill a small path, allowing some running through the rubber to a small stream.
There the front runners hit the second check, which somehow took about 20 minutes to break. Finally KenChing found the paper in the bushes further left going uphill. Some steep climbs made everyone catch breath until the runners finally could come out at a cleared area.
The paper was leading to the right, downhill to one more check with a falsie further downhill, which pulled a group of hashers further downhill. A few smarter ones checking earlier already to the left further up, where after some confusion with OnOn calls from the falsie-runners, connecting paper was found by Pengsan.
The pack was called back and puffed up their way to the top with the nice view, realizing that another climb had to be mastered until the home trail could be finally reached, coming out at the top of the temple area.
Circle was held at the fishpond area with Abraham as mystery whip. OnOn Cock Pain’s on-site cooked famous seafood porridge.
