The trail started on the road and took us left at the far end and then started going slightly uphill. Up up we went and reached the first check that was broken right and we came to a beautiful waterfall. This was indeed a new area for HLH4 hashers and the scenery was really fantastic. We kept climbing up until we reached the second check and it went downhill for a bit before turning right again uphill.
At the top of the hill, it was a check again and this check took us down again and started leading home or so we thought until we found the last check which was a formality towards home, back on the tar road to the cars, where we parked.
KH3 had their own run site with their beer wagon, but we had our chilled beer organised and 100 Plus and water melons to quench our thirst.
The Circle started at 8.30, On Sex took the box and announced the next weeks run at Gasing Hill. The hare for the Voluntary Run was iced in recognition for organising a splendid run despite the short notice. On Sex announced the Rotation Run that will be held on 29 July 2013 hosted by HLH4 and urged all members to support the OC and his team if approached. Hash Advisor Long John reminded all members that as a club that has been around for 20 years, we should accommodate each other always. The Whip, iced the usual suspects for the offences committed and later was iced by On Sex for offence he committed.
Overall, even though we had only 12, (as Munster left after the run), we had a really good time and the camaraderie was fantastic.

Knowing that there were a few of our members who will usually skip, shortcut, turn back or do a DIY at the hilly trails around here, the hare needed to strategize, not only to make everyone go in but to also get them to complete the run. Announcing that it will be a short run or that there will only be one or two climbs does not work. So he got Bandit as bait and even got Bandit to park his car, with hash papers and all, right in front of the runsite, so that no one could miss it, and kept his car in background. Everyone coming in will get the impression that Bandit, who abhors hills, was setting the run.
It worked, nearly everyone, with exception of Eto and Bruise Lee, went it. Even KFC fell for the bait and went in but JPS was not fooled, he did his usual DIY.
The papers started in the usual in-trail but kept right and down into the jungle keeping just along the fringe. When it hit the joggers/hikers' path, the trail led along on the path up to a point where the papers went back into the jungle on the right. After a couple of checks along the way, the papers went on the hikers' track for the steep climb to level 3.
The check at level 3 seemed a slight problem as from there the papers followed the same trial as that of the Baby hash and MKH4. Coming down a tricky, slippery and sometimes difficult descent, a check was laid on the trail to the left, broken on the right, the papers led up to hashers' main in / out trail.
The hare must have expected Long John to turn up for the run, so instead of hitting the out-trail, he pulled the front runners across for another climb that ended with an even more difficult descent.
Dipstick and CockPain were out neck to neck in one hour 20 minutes. A quick call to 'sweeper' Charlie Cheekadee got him to turn back and come out through the other hash chapter's laid papers. By 8.30pm, all were out.

The papers led the hashers on well trodden paths right up to level six with a few more checks thrown in for good measure. The third took awhile to break.
The last check at level six was broken on the left to give that hashers a good long downward all the way to home, through the first check and the in-trail.
FRB was out at 7.05pm while the last, XL, who went in late and completed it on paper to reach home at about 7.45pm.
ABC 'boxed' the circle just when the drizzle stopped.
Bandit was given opportunity as mystery whip and he did not hold the Tool of Office in the right hand, he held it in the wrong hand which was the right hand.
KFC was also given the honor to go on the Box and ice anyone for no reason and she made sure Bandit had his bum cooled a second time.

It rained in the Klang Valley earlier and there was a slight drizzle at the start of the run. The runsite had to be moved to the site to the left as there were signs another hash chapter was runsited at our usual place near the free water tap 'sponsored' by Guitarman. But it appeared this chapter was HAPPY with just three runners.
This was the first run in the Chinese year of the Water Dragon and we had, who else, but Silent Dragon to co-hare the run.
The trail up the usual out-trail up to level six which the hare was misled to believe was station 5. From there it was all the way down, but Silent Dragon conveniently forgot the two more climbs to endure on the way down.
Accept for the initial screw up just before the climb where some A holes connected the papers to the out trail, all the other checks were broken intelligently fast despite the absence of the usual FROBs.
The next week's hare was believed to be the FROB, coming out in 1hr 20mins.

Run: 946 Hare: Silent Dragon Venue: Bukit Hatamas Cheras Cohares: Munster, ...
Due to fallen trees blocking the well trodden path, the hare had to bash through some thick undergrowth which got the runners cursing. The first two checks were broken quite easily with Winnie Jenny taking the third.
The last check was a back check after a falsie and since the FRBs were too 'tired', they allowed Winnie Jenny to break this one too. Some of the FRBs were so exhausted, they took their rest on the hammocks strung up at level three.
After a swinging rest, Kelam Kabut chased Winnie to hit home at nearly the same time at around 7.20pm.
The only hasher wearing Song Lau's tie was given the honor of being the mystery whip and who relished the joy of 'icing' some from the small group of about 20. Beerman was also given the honor of sitting on the wet egg carton for not bringing the ice.

Arrived early at the runsite following HLH4 signs pointing to the right. Saw Farah, Silent Dragon and Amelia with Guat Ling waiting in the car. OnOn was called at 6:05 after some confusion ON where the in-paper was to be found. Lester finally pointed about 500 meters further down the tarmac road to the left towards the link houses. The pack strolled towards the in-trail and moved up the hill. It was a steady climb up, only interrupted by a forward check, which was quickly broken by the FROPs. The climb continued all the way up to the top, costing its tribute to some of the hashers. Dr. Ballcracker’s balls were not big enough during the run, he turned back with some of the “no balls”.
After about 45 min, the top was reached, a check to the left was broken and the trail went downhill to the right. Soon it became dark already. There was some confusion at the next check, which took about 15 min to break. Guitarman was cursing “where is the f….ing paper…”. Some hashers used torchlights to look for the paper, while Yee Mai using hers to desperately check herself for leeches (somebody should tell her that there are no leeches in Bukit Hatamas….)
Finally OnOn was called and the pack descended while it was pitch-dark. Song Lau had a fall and could not get up for a while. Dipstick then began complaining that he would have to spent RM100 or so on flower arrangement for his funeral. Luckily Song Lau made it and the pack continued downhill. A last check was broken to the right and from there it was an easy way out to the parking area ……
But what surprise…the beer wagon had moved to the other side where the in-trail was. Monster had his car keys with him and drove over to get the box with the car keys.
First runner Kelam Kabut out in 1:55, the rest who completed the run in 2:05.
Bandit as expected showed up slightly late. When he heard calls” On-up..” he went from the in-trail straight to the out trail and checked the time whether the beer could be broken already.
Long John commented the run as “slightly below his standard” and used the 5oo metre tarmac to the beer wagon to make it up to his standard.
It seems a new standard was introduced for the circle, which was extremely short, no hash-whip to be seen and guests not greeted properly by hashers.
Iced: The hare for a “slightly f…ed up run” and Farah with Warrenti for parking at the wrong site.

Bandit did not hand over his keys saying he will have to come out early to audit the accounts. At this runsite, Bandit will always have an excuse not complete the trail course.
The papers led from the usual carpark into the usual in-trail, where it led down and then up for the 1st climb. The trail went up, taking the right at the 1st fork and continued across the middle path to the 1st check. As Bandit was last, he went on the right and found paper going into the under growth and called On ON a short while later.
He kept following the trail through bushes while sounding the horn right up to the 2nd check. But no one followed. All the fast runners, the middle runners and the walkers took the clean, well trodden path. The front runners even reached the On paper of the 2nd check without reaching the check.
The papers took the path on the right just after the stream. This went up and and up before turning left and down for a circular which enlisted some cursing from the back pack. So climb again and just reaching level 3, the trail swung left and up to another check.
A forward check? A back check? Ahh, a falsie. But no one could break it, so all made their way down, passing the tokong, crossing the stream and back through the in-trail. Farah and Bandit coming out last at around 7.50pm.

The run started towards the apartments and went behind the terrace houses for a good warm-up climb on the cement slopes. The 1st check was a back check through the clearings and led on open grounds till the fringe of the jungle.
From here it was a steep climb along and up the drain steps with another check thrown in midway. The papers continued up into the jungle for a very thorny, steep and slippery 45 mins climb to the so called "Ah Pak San". The trail then passed through the park before coming down all the way to the run site.
It was a good run, good sweat, with Lester ABC FRB at 7.13pm and all the other members coming out a short while later. Abraham should keep it up in setting such good runs.

At 6pm, Munster led the way followed by Dipstick, Pengsan, KelamKabut and Bandit. The trail led down and then up the usual steep 1st climb. At the top the papers took the right turn to the check which was broken further up right.
From there, the papers led along well beaten hikers track up to the 1st level, then past the 2nd level to the third level. The trail then went down and up and down and up and out through the in-trail.
When Bandit turned back at the 2nd level, Micheal continued while Khoo Kongsi and Moon had enough and turned back too.
Dipstick was FRB coming out at 7.20pm followed by Pengsan about 5 mins later. Munster and Kelam Kabut came out in a different out-trail about 10 mins later while Micheal came out from the main road at about 8pm.

Kajang H3 was celebrating their Run No. 1111 and our usual run turnout were at Bandar Tech as a show of support. It was a very wet week in the Klang Valley with a heavy downpour earlier in the afternoon. So at about 10 to 6, there were only Silent Dragon, No Wing and Bandit together the beerman at the runsite near the JKR water tank on the right just after the entrance to Bukit Hatamas.
Bandit then said that he will not be completing the run to which Silent Dragon added that he too will not complete as he has to attend a wedding dinner nearby. Hearing this, No Wing said, "I think I have slight fever".
About 3 mins before 6, the 3 of them set off for the run, passing the KAKI Hash who were runsited closeby. The paper led on the right into the jungle and kept right all the way down and cross the stream for the long climb up the first hill.
Coming down the other side brought the three hashers to the first check. Silent Dragon went across the stream and up the 2nd hill while No Wing took the left path to check. Bandit, arriving last, went checking on the right.
Unable to locate the paper trails, both No Wing and Bandit returned to check point and called out for Silent Dragon. Not hearing any reply, Bandit went up the hill across the stream. Not finding paper nor meeting Silent Dragon, he came down 15 mins later.
After waiting 10 mins for Silent Dragon, at No Wing's insistance, both returned on the in-trail, arriving home about 7.08pm. A short while later Silent Dragon came out, having met the hare up the hill after the first check. The sad hare did not go and collect the capati he had ordered and Farah did not bring out the chicken curry she had prepared, which was a good thing for No Wing.
It took a while to consume the one crate of the golden fluid which Hash Cash had allowed. Bumble Bee drove by and noticing none of the guys enticing enough, grabbed a bottle of the golden piss and went off.
No Wing was jubilant as he thought no one had noticed his new boots until he was told that we usually carry forward to the following week any charges and On downs not caried out.
Pictures provided by No Wing who was concerned about our website. History created for HLH4 for the least number of hashers turning up for a run.

About 30 members turned up at the runsite just below the water tank. Much to the surprise of many, the in-trail was on the left as one faced the hillslope. It started with a walk and a climb, a check and a downhill trek till the river. Then another steep climb to a dead end where a check with a falsie was laid. Going up again a back check at the quarry.
From there, the papers went up the laterite road to reach a 'bathing post' and another steep climb till the ridge which gave to few hashers making up thus far a beautiful view of Kg Cheras Baru and Bukit Hatamas.
The papers then led past a 'recreational area' where many people were seen 'exercising'. From there abouts, it was all the way downhill, through some slippery steep slopes and thick thorny bushes.
The FRB was out in 1hr5mins while the rest came trickling out 15mins later.

A drizzle few hours before the run and the runsite situated just in front of the water tank, had a cooling and breezy feel to it, otherwise a hot sunny day.It looked like a low turn out, again it was the otherwise. Opposites rule!
The virgin hare is known for his politeness and the gentleman like manner to a perfect note (at least to us) and was generous enough to provide us with the good long run. It started with a slow walk as the downhill was a big rock and a 'difficult to get down situation' between a crack.
Another short walk to get everyone under the tree canopies for a cooling change and headed towards Ah-Pak-San (south side) with a short downhill. A slow climb uphill brought some front runners scattering about to find missing papers here and there and met with the confusing checking papers that could have been the first or second check?
As guessed, there could be someone who usually messed with the run papers as many other chapters who ran here faced the same problem. A short back check broken by the late comers, brought the pack climbing further uphill till a small path to meet with the, could be, second check.A scatter among the front runners took some good time to break, leaving some first time guests a good rest with one (named Win) lying on a bed of leaves looking like a corpse. Farther reaching, ABC broke the check towards the 'tourist spot' with a good running trail with an uphill twist. From here on, a few more checks, a few more killer climbs (that had a few hashers [JPS & Bandit] moaning and groaning like making love).
There was also what looked like an endless climb just before the endless downhill as home trail. Luckily - first time guest, Win, turned back with Song Lau (who temporarily relieved the HLH5 GM of his duties). Another first timer (Jack) had to go on all fours to crawl home saying "...this is big time! compared to the weekly gym sessions that I go to, that look like babies!".
The usual back pack was in the dark and had to wait for another 'beckenders' pack (with Warranti & Farah!) who had torchlights to 'shine' the way home. FROP 1hr35mins with the 'beckenders' in 2hrs30mins safely. The comment, "a good run but a little short!" which is usually heard after a run was twisted to be "a good run but a bit too long!". Well, you cannot be catering to everyone's fancy.
The circle started late due to the 'last one home' and the 'last one to finish bathing'. Like any good mini skirt, the circle was kept as short a possible but just enough to cover everything.
Some were 'made fun of' :

Nokia - co-hare who made it half way, should have continued to 'cause' a shorter run;
KikiLala - BeeSingh;
Long John Silver - taking grand old time to bathe;
Ricky Ular - kept interrupting the Box.
HLH4 'Synagogue of Baptism' High Priest Master Ustad Brother Song Lau baptised Cantonese speaking Aftar Singh as HongKong Singh and the sweet miscalled name Jessie Tey as Juicy.
