Rehashed 20130406 Matahari

Run: 1029 Hare: Matahari Venue: Kota Warisan Cohare: Thomas Kilat, Dorai

The scheduled hare was Matahari (sun) but getting to the runsite, from the main road, there were no matahari signs and there were also no HLH4 directional signs, instead we were greeted with only bulan (moon - general elections season) signs. From before the start and right up the ON ON, there was also no matahari, just hujan (rain).

The runsite was at the curve in the road going up just before the hilltop and away from the Co-hare's semi-D.

Unlike the previous runs here, the papers led on the opposite direction, a different route. Going under palm oil, the trial kept left, going up the 1st hill and coming down, still keeping left and to the high tension power lines. But the papers did not cross the rentice, but kept just along the boundary.

Another hill and a loop where the last check was "lost and not connected" for some back runners. The trail then hit towards the main road side and looped back, climbing the last hill back to runsite through the usual in-trail.

The rain before the run had washed off some trail marking papers, which delayed the runners somewhat but still the FROBs managed to hit home within the hour. A short while later, the rest of the group was out. Some said that it was a "motorbike run", so the hare's brother was "cooled" down.

The hare, Matahari, must have expected or maybe even summoned the rain, which had stopped for awhile just before the start of the run and then continued when circle began. He gave out Mataharimau umbrellas.

On On onsite.

Run: 948 Occasion: Mid Autumn Festival Run Venue: Taman Tasik Semenyih Hares: King Kong , Charlie Chickadee CoHares: BabyKangaroo, Guitarman, Kiki

Runsite was at the Siamese temple. A turnout of about 70 with a third being guests. The run was through the slopes of the temple hill. Nearly all who went in on time completed the run, including a guest whose dress hemline was "a yard above the knee".

Despite the earlier rain and wet trails, the FRB was in within 1hr 5mins while back pack was out about eight.

On On onsite, catered by the temple cafeteria. Freebie T with the 'monkey in front and the 'chaplin' at the back. Printed Run number ...?

Rehashed 20110305 Liew

Run: 920 Hare: Liew "Ta Ada Air" Venue: Damai Utama Kinrara Cohares: Tangki Air, Meow, ...

The Hare Liew Ta Ada Air

We arrived late and went on trail about 10mins later. The usual InTrail, the usual trekking up the hill, the usual hilltop trail but the first check got the whole pack stuck for more than 10mins. It was a back check that spanned more than 600m!

I was stuck at the back after checking forward and ‘here and there’. It was really a long one as we then had to do at least 4 climbs with the slippery conditions and the queue! The co-hare had many ideas and the windings around the jungle and slope sure got many thrown off balance and directions!

It was not till we finally got a view of where we were heading and where the home trail run would be, that we were taken for a big loop round the smaller hills before we finally came out in the dark before 8pm! The last one to show up was slightly after 9pm!

Rehashed20101030 Deepavali

Run: 902 Occasion: Deepavali Run 2010 Venue: Emville Kg Sg Buah Hares: ...

We arrived with ample time to get prepared but due to chit-chats here and there I got to wear my shoes only at 6pm. Monster was running up and down to look for the paper while Blood Donor was on the other end doing the same thing. Finally, Monster got on to the trail on the tarmac for start.

It was about a kilometer on the road round to get back on track to the tunnels. The pack thought it would be a change from the last but the first check after the tunnels got the middle pack to search for a back check. True enough, Show Time called the pack and off we went towards the OP. Zig-zagging round the first hill and passed it the pack got on to the 2nd check near the highway.

Thinking of a forward, the few runners searched in vain while the middle pack broke it to be tricked into a falsie. Song Lau was quick and ran into the true trail. Kelam Kabut and Cock Pain whizzed pass and an uphill slowed them down, further a slippery down hill had them even slower.

Weird calls of the wild were heard – monkeys, ducks, chickens and birds! Through the bushes and a cross over some shaggy areas, the pack was treated to a slippery uphill. Kelam Kabut ran too fast to spot a sharp turn uphill had Show Time in front blocking them as he was ‘negotiating’ a slippery climb that took him ages to get on!

From the hill top, Rocky was seen walking on a different direction away from the paper and later the front pack knew what he was doing. A check was just by the clearcuts and a back check was called to get on back. A run downhill till a clearing for a scenic view of the run site and it was only to get on the home trail.

The FROP was reported to be back at 7pm, me Mrs told me she was back at 7:10pm while I was around 7:30pm! Cock Pain was heard to have said a good run while Guitarman said the same while alighting his car!

Pre dinner food was served with BBQ chicken and fish that were delights as the queue for seconds was long.

Rehashed 20101023 KingKong & Charlie

Run: 901 Hare: King Kong & Charlie Venue: Bandar Technology SubCons: No Hair, Yee Mai, Buldozer

Despite the rain in the late afternoon and the heavy drizzle during the run, a good number went in. But they certainly did not bargain for a heavy warm up after the 'sweet kiss'. Their shoes would have weighed at least 6 kilos, no thanks to the clearing.

No Hair puts the blame on one of our members for 'Buldozing' our running area.

The runners cursed a second time, well, the home trail was through the same shit. Again shoes carrying 6 kilos of mud back to runsite.

How was the run? The run was in Bandar Tech. How different could it be from the numerous time we had run here.

We got No Hair back in action - there were no celebration runs elsewhere - to give us what he could recall.

1. One of 2 hare was OnDown-ed ( Chickadee was on hand to hand out the freebies while King Kong was downing 2 bottles of whiskey in another dinner);
2. Chickadee was on ice for not wearing their hand outs.
3. Bulldozer was iced for the muddy trails as he was blamed to have bulldozed the running areas till flat.

4. Deepavali Run OC, Matahari, was OnDown-ed for the enthusiastic showed for the cuming run.
5. Guitarman was running towards the beer wagon after alighting from his car and commented "A good run!" in his slippers!
6. HLH4 would be losing some members for a few months - Elsie 'The Beautiful' Pusher will be to Dubai and Song Lau will be in C-bai.

7. Guitarman was blamed for leaving half bottle of beer unattended while Jo escaped.
8. Elsie Pusher was OnDowned again by OnCash for paying her subs till end of 2011!
9. Miow2 and Matahari was iced a little while as ABC took the ice alone - they were lack in marking in/out.

10. Dr Ballcracker came back to be iced after a dinner in a neatly ironed pair of slacks.
11. Ice Cooleng was iced for commenting about the rain and the hare - stingy?
12. No Hair was iced for asking the crowd to sit nearer for him to peep on cleavages.

13. Bruise Lee left his water carrier last week for the Whip to pick up after him.
14. Song Lau led the ladies to shortcut on trail and stated to the runners not on paper while he coincidently got on paper.
15. Ice Cooleng was iced again for greedily wanting more of the 888 Run stickers.

16. Cha Cha was absent minded and mistakenly stating wrong MantinH4's treasure hunt date and event.
17. Munster was iced as he got a whistled at by Bangla while bathing!
18. The birthday boys (on 22 Oct) were serenaded while another (actual date) was in Sarawak.

OnOn on site with Star Caterer's scrumptious makan.

Rehashed 20100925 Touch N Go

Run: 897 Hare: Yenny Touch & Go Venue: Kesuma Lakes Cohares: Song Lau, JPS, Viagra, Richard

The Hare Touch N Go

The traffic from Cheras to Semenyih was extremely bad today. But managed to escape the bad jam at Jalan Semenyih by using the Lekas highway. Anyway still late to the runsite at Kesuma Lake by 5 minutes. Many of the hashers were late due to the traffic jam.

The run started on the tar road toward the water tank and climbing up into the oil palm plantation, running along the high tention tower. There were no steep hills and most of the time we were running around in the oil palm plantation.

The hashers took some time to break the last check which was on the right. From then on it was a straight home run. The FRB was out in about 55 mins while seasoned Rocky completed the very wet run about 40 mins later.

The hares later said that, as they were laying the 1st check, the skies opened up to let go a torrential downpour. Remembering the last run here, where the trail papers got washed away, they decided to tone down the run.

The generous hare gave away a pair of "What do your call it?" "Tights?" (update 02/10/2010: the webmaster has just been informed that its called 'stockings'. Need to excuse his ignorance, being a bachelor and all.) Whatever, but it was only for the harriets. Maybe she knows that some of our guys do not wear underwear. Our Hash Flash managed to secretly snap a model, must be a guest, wearing the freebie at the circle (see pix below and, No, a tampon was not in the freebie package).

Well, for the guys, she gave a 'sarong', yellow and black or yellow and red. No pictures though, as no one was seen wearing it at the circle.

Josephine came for her second trial, before she decides to join us.

Rehashed20100918 Cowlin

Run: 896 Hare: Cowlin Venue: Broga Nott. U Cohares: ...

..... Updated 24/09/2010 .....

The run site at Broga behind a chicken farm was easy to find with good signage (We have not been running at this run site for quite some time since Dip Stick's run some years ago). About 20 over hashers turned up for the run with about half of them being guests. Some of the regular members did not turn up as they were at the wedding dinner of one of our hasher's friend.

The run started straight forward on a track and turned left to a hut for the first check. The pack spent more than 20 minutes checking but was unable to break the check. It needed the co-hare to direct the hashers to break the first check on the left on top of some rubber plantation.

From then it was all the way up to the top of the hill. Some of the hashers did not follow the trail (perhaps did not hear the On Call) and moved straight forward to the top. From there it was down hill toward some durian plantations. Then there were two steep hills infront waitng for the hashiers.

The home run followed the high tention tower towards some rubber trees down hill to a stream. By the time the last pack reached the rubber plantation, it was total darkness and we needed torchlights to guide us through. By the time we reached the home trail open track, the hare was waiting with a pick up truck for the hashers. Some of the hashiers climb onto the truck while two of us followed the track home.

Freebie Shorts by Cowlin The last pack of 8 hashiers and guests reached the runsite at 8.45 p.m. The first runner was out at 8.00 p.m. At the same time it started to rain. This evening's run more than compensated the short run lst week. KFC commented that she will not run in this runsite again !!!

Circle started later when the rain stopped with Lester ABC on the box(the on-sec was missing). There were 9 first timer guests and the hare give away a pair of stricking shorts ot everyone for the tough run.

It started to rain again when dinner was served. On On was on site with the Hare's popular Ipoh Salted Chicken Rich. Most of the hashers left early due to the rain.

Rehashed20100904 AGM

Run: 894 Occasion: 17th AGM Venue: Kesuma Lakes SubCon hares: Song Lau, Guitarman

Who were elected Local Festivities are joyous occasions which are welcomed by most all, including hashizens of Hashdom but these holidays are frowned upon by some corporations who view the celebrations and holidays as unproductive. These corporations only look at $$$, their bottom line.

Its the same with our website management, however, the webmaster's bottom line is the deadline. Someone had promised to scribe our AGM run, but as at publishing time, the scribe report has not been received.

There were quite a number of guests at our AGM run, most of whom had come in specially to scrutinize our elections. Maybe, for a change, we could invite a guest to write the run report.

No, it cannot be Joline, who checked our website, took a train, called our GM, took a cab and then waited at Kesuma Lakes entrance for a Bulldozer to bring her in to experience and relish The HLH4 hashing fellowship, even though for no make-ups, ... she did not run.

How about SMC, who has been hugging the Kajang H3 OnSex post for some ten years? This is an open invitation to SMC, to write a hashort report of the run. You may email us your scribe and it will be appended here, in this post, unedited.

Meanwhile, while we wait for SMC to get sober and hopefully recall sarcastically/comically our run last week, please note the members of the our Mismanagement Team (they are ones named in the picture above, just in case you did not notice) for the new term who are anxiously waiting to further screw up our hashing lives.

Rehashed20100724 Sweet 17 cum Run 888

Run: 888 Occasion: Sweet 17 cum Run 888 Celebration Venue: Bandar Technology Kajang

Sweet 17 Mag

HLH4 held a 'Preamble" to treat our Guests from Indonesia, Sabah, and Sarawak who had checked in two days earlier. No run, just drink, eat, drink and party at our GM, King Kong's place. Many participating GMs also accepted our invitation to party and count down to our Sweet 17 celebration.

The next day was a great and beautiful day as the hashers arrived at the runsite. Everything went smoothly, the 5 buses ferrying some 200 hashers for the B to A 'Long' run left on time. The Long Run FRB was out in an hour and a half. The old farts, the walkers and the medium distance runners were also 'flagged' off on time.

However, its never called a Hash event IF everything goes as planned. The pre-run lunch was delayed by about 10 mins. Some food stations had long queues for second helpings. More crates had to be carried from the beer truck as the quota run out. The headache for some in deciding which of the 2 freebie Ts to wear.

LOng John Silver It was also an occasion to honor one member, the one who co-founded the 1st Hash chapter in Kajang. Iqbal 'Long John Silver' is also to be blamed for the cause of some 9 chapters in Kajang.

Now it is time to Thank:

Thank you to the more than 1500 pre-run registrations.
Thank you to the more than 70 Hash chapters participating in our celebrations.
Thank you to PJ Harriets for having the largest contingent in attendance.

Thank you to the 120 East Malaysian hashers for condoning our hospitality.
Thank you to the attending hashers from Medan and Phuket.
Thank you to the the sole cyber registration from Sandakan.

Thank you to the about 50 'walk in' registrations.
Thank you to the few 'gate crashers' who did not cause a problem.

Thank you to the 200 hashers who got on to the 5 buses for the 'Long Run'.
Thank you to the more 500 hashers who went in on the 'short' run.
Thank you to the 500 odd hashers who did not run.

Thank you to the food caterers, without you, we would have had a riot.
Thank you to Skol beer for quenching the HAshers' thirst.

Thank you to the 'Small Stones' for the evergreen music.
Thank you to the music machine for filling in.
Thank you to all advertisers in the souvenir magazine.
Thank you to all non-HLH4 pledges.

Thank you to RELA for car park security.
Thank you to the Sweet 17 bags supplier.
Thank you to the Sweet 17 freebie T-shirts printers.
Thank you to the souvenir magazine printers for supplying the books on the eve.

Thank you to the harriets for not fussing when the fireworks went off close by them.
Thank you to all for accepting our short cummings (if any).
Thank you to all for getting home safely.

Pictures have been up loaded and can be viewed here at Billy's or here
and here and here.

Rehashed 20100417 Viagra

Run: 874 Hare: Ah Wai Viagra Venue: Bukit Angkat Cohares: JPS, Cock Pain

The heavy rain that started before the run delayed many members while deterring some to come and run. Fallen down HLH4 directional signs caused some to turn up at the factories' site.

Blown away signs were the least of the problems faced by the hashers on this wet evening. Getting on to and staying on the correct trail was a most daunting task, no thanks to washed away hash trail papers.

There were basically two groups of hashers, the first who went in at around 6pm and the other, the late cummers, who went in around 6.30pm. The first group came out around 7.25pm knowing that it was a small running area at Bukit Angkat.

The 2nd group, that is the back runners, also knowing there is not much running area here, came out around 8.30pm. Well they had to break the last two checks which the Front Runners "On Paper" missed completely.

The back group had luck on their side in the form of the better half of the co-hare who being worried on the lateness of his wife called to inform that the last check was a back check.

When the FROPs reached home, there were already more 40 hashers enjoying the golden piss.

The hare gave all members a T-shirt, similar in style as the one he gave out at his last run at Betong. This T was to signify the return from Betong, however, Viagra left an "A" back in Betong.

Rehashed 20100320 Kilat

Run: 870 Hare: Thomas Kilat Venue: Kota Warisan Cohares: Thomas & Friends

The Hare Kilat

Thomas Kilat's run at Kota Warisan, a virgin run site on the way to KLIA. The run site was at the top of a hill where a big signage "Kota Warisan" is displaced and with a very beautiful view.

The turn out for the run was small due to the distance and also the Animales' do at Shah Alam where about 10 of our members attended. The beer man lost his way and was heard calling for help.

The run started at about 6.10 p.m. with only 9 hashers. The run was a clean oil palm estate walk where all the way we could only see oil palm trees and there was no bashing through any bushes. The run started toward the highway and into the oil palm estate.

The 1st check was a back check on the right. The 2nd and 3rd checks were forward checks and were easily broken. The home run took the hashers along some bungalows in Kota Warisan and a small climb to the runsite at the top of the hill.

On the way the few members bumped into 3 hashers doing the reverse run. One of the surprise guest they met was non other than Cock Pain, an ex-member. According to him he was specially invited by the Hare who went to this house in the afternoon.

The 1st runner, Gary was out at about 7.30 p.m. and the rest were out about 15 minutes later. A black t-shirt was given out by the generous hare and this is the 2nd t-shirt given out by the hare.

On On on site with plenty of food and not long after that the "Ngau" session started.

"No Hair" missed HLH4 so much that, after the Animal's run in Shah Alam, he rushed to Kota Warisan to conduct the circle.

Rehashed 20091219 Christmas

Run: 857 Occassion: Christmas Run Venue: Port Dickson Hares: Guitarman, Long John

The hosts honoring the advisor A very good many managed to find their way to PD well before the run.

Of course there will be some who, no matter how much and how detailed the directions that were given, will end up somewhere else.

And then they will keep calling the hare or the run organisers and their next friends for directions.

Rocky wearing the freebie on the run The run organisers had planned to give a wind cheater/rain coat and, as is the usual case in a hash, there will be an opportunity to use the freebie the soonest possible.

It rained the whole morning and afternoon at PD. So the OC decided to issue the freebie BEFORE the run.

Here is Rocky parading the freebie on the run. The rain stopped just before the run started.

The back pack on the way in on the runSome members in their beach wear The organisers said it will be a beach run. The pix on left shows the back pack on the run heading towards the beach at the first check.

The pix on right shows some who decided on a different wardrobe for this run. They said this was beach wear prompting someone to wonder "what happened to the bikini or at least the one-piece swimsuit?".

The 2nd check was along the beach. Here, Kelam Kabut swam out to sea trying to break the check. Since he could not break it out in the open sea, he decided to dry himself on a swing.

the hashers going through the muddy constuction site The trail then led off from the beach and headed towards the green canopies. "AH", many would have thought that they were finally going get some trails in the jungle.

How they were mistaken, cos, the 3rd check was broken at the construction site for a muddy turn back trail.

The home trail along the main road The papers then led towards the main coastal road for a somewhat slightly dangerous run along the main road.

Kelam Kabut was FRB in 55 mins while the back pack who managed to shortcut way before the turn was out a short while later.

The fat guy in a red suit made an appearance at the circle to give out gifts to all present.

GM with the roast turkey On On, just after the gift exchange at the Batu Pahat bungalow, was BBQ sponsored by some great guys from Dengkil. It was the Christmas season and off course, there was the turkey, another great gesture by a sponsor.

The organisers said that the success was due to all who contributed in one way or another. Many thanks to all members and sponsors.

The co-OC was so happy with the support and success that he wants to throw another party. Yes our JM, JPS, invites all members to his house on Christmas day. Please try to get to JPS house around 7-7.30pm. He will be expecting all members.
