Run: 995 Hare: Rockey Venue: Kota Warisan Cohares: Kilat, Short Circuit
This was about the third time, the run was being sited at Kota Warisan with the runsite being the same as the first run here. So, many who were hoping for the runsite at the top of the hill, were disappointed.
The trails were all through the same areas that were covered the previous two runs here. The only exception was that, this time our hashers became a little too smart with the familiar territory that they started second guessing the trails. The apparent shortage of paper markers and these second guessers led to much time being wasted on getting onto the correct trail.
Practically only Joachim tried his best to be on the correct trail. Cock Pain was observed with an angry face, running into every nook and corner to check for paper. Charlie basikal completed the run in flip flops. Scheduled hare, Rocky, touching a reverse 57, went in and managed to find his way out.
It was later learnt that the Sub Con, Kilat, did not wait for his co-hare, Short Circuit and went in to set the run alone earlier in the day. He then sent his co-hare who turned up at the agreed time of 3pm to go in and check on the trail and papers.
The circle started with a minute's silence for our former member, American Sam, who had passed on after a long illness.
On On was at Kilat's place where, it appeared as though he had invited the whole of Dengkil and Kajang, to celebrate his long wait for an offspring that was rewarded with a double bundle of joy - 2 short guns.
