Rehashed 20120630 Short Circuit
Run: 989 Hare: Short Circuit Venue: Ambar Tenang Dengkil Cohare: Kilat
This was a new runsite. Directions were announced last week. Our website carried the directions with a link to a Google map. The GPS coordinates were also given. Yet, at 6pm, there were only a handful of members ready to hit the virgin trail. Joachim showed up after a long hiatus, probably after Germany was knocked out of Euro 2012. 
At just past six, GM called On On and waited to care for the car keys as the beerman had yet to come. The trail led up a gentle slope and quickly reached the 1st check which was easily broken on the right. The papers still led up and to another check just before the canopy, which was also broken rather fast.Coming out into open and going around the hill and still going up to the top, the front runners hit another check, which had even the middle pack reaching it as it took a while to break. It was broken by Joachim along the same path which had been checked earlier by two other hashers.
From the top, the papers led down to just before some village houses and another check. This took a good fifteen minutes before Bandit hit some papers and called On On. It turned out Bandit hit midway of a paper trail and he did not know whether the papers were leading left and up the hill again or if it led right and down to the river and close to the Putrajaya riverside runsite. 
Lester ABC who had just caught up with the group and was coming down the hill, decided to follow through down on the right. Cock Pain, who also just caught up, decided on the trail that went down. Buaya, who had earlier gone checking on the other side, decided on the trail that went up the hill.Long John Silver decided to go down and was followed by SK and UI. By this time GM, who managed to find the shortcuts, joined the group together with KFC and Blood Donor. Joachim, Silent Dragon, Eto, Tangki Air, Ta'ada Air, Kenching, Blood Donor, Charlie Bicyle, Agnes and the rest decided on the left trail which was the right trail that went up the hill.
From the top, the papers led dangerously down and to another check, which was broken obviously quick and to the home trial, which had some members fuming due to insufficient trail markers.
By 7.30pm, Buaya was out on paper and shortly, the others who had gone the wrong way, found their way home. The hare's guest, Kumar, paid a villager to give him ride back after his shoes gave up on him.

Rehashed20101225 Short Circuit
Run: 910 Hare: Short Circuit Venue: Jalan Reko Cohares: ...
It was a cloudy Christmas day with a small group for the run.
The reality was that the run has been ‘instructed’ to be short but it was too short that the runners came in walking after 35mins!
Short Circuit was quick to set up the makan stall with roast ducks, fried noodles, vaddey, curry puffs and watermelon while Chickadee was sponsoring some tasty banana leaf pre-packed nasi lemak.
Circle was conducted short and sweet.
OnOn was held at JPS Jit's house.

The Hrae has plneand a spiceal jnoit run wtih the caheptr wehre he is the GM. It is expceetd to be a BIG do. Msot lkiely the rnustie wluod be smorwehee naer Mnaitn twon. Clal the Hrae, or soomene esle wohm you konw is not durnk yet and who wlil gvie you the ceorrct drietcoins.
If you hvae been albe to raed all tihs, tehn you hvae not had enuogh beres, cmoe for Fong Siew's Run and get psised for the strat of the New Yaer.)
Updated 31/12/10: Directions - Make your way to Kajang and head south as to Semenyih. Take the LEKAS Highway from south of Kajang to head towards Pajam/Mantin/Seremban. Exit Mantin and after toll booths, a set of traffic lights - set trip meter to 0. Turn right and onto the Mantin-Seremban trunk road, at Km 6.5 turn right towards Kampung Raya/Kampung Sungai Raya.

Run: 832 Virgin Hare: Siva Venue: Putrajaya SubCons: JPS, Guitarman, Mr Kilat
A good number of our members had gone to celebrate KL Dalmatians' 5th Any Run at Damansara Perdana. So at On On there were only 15 members going in.
From the runsite beside the river, the papers led across the bridge and led left along the river for a good warm-up. The right turn into the canopy led to the first climb to the top and down the other side through the bamboo. It was quite tricky coming down the slope on dried bamboo leaves.
Crossing the ravine and going up again brought the FROP to the first check. This was quickly broken with the papers leading up to the top and down the other side. The trail then led across a short shiggy and another short climb to the lateratic bald top.
Going across the bald patch on top and down all the way. The couple of checks along the way were also quickly broken for the long home run along the river back to runsite.
The Front Running Bastards (FRB) were out in 45mins while Bandit swept himself out last about half an hour later.
On On onsite.
OnSec Guitarman took the box to OnDown the hare and the sub-cons after which Advisor Song Lau took over.
The hare Siva was baptised 'Short Circuit'.
Our German friend, Joachim, who decided to enrol with HLH4 was welcomed as new boot effective July 2009.
