About 35 members and guests managed to get to the runsite after making some preventable U-turns. Some were luckier to spot the hare putting up the signs just a little before 6pm.


The in-trail was a 10 min walk along the foot of the hill before the near vertical climb to the trail on the hill. As expected, the papers took the hashers right up to the tower. The long climb up resulted in the FRBs leaving the back pack far behind.


A circular check near the tower and aided by some cunt-fusing paper, allowed the back pack to be ahead of the FRBs on the downward stretch. But the treacherous down trail with a ravine crossing, a small uphill and a long U-turn to runsite allowed the FRBs to regain their lead. The first runner was out in about 1hr 45mins while the last out at 8.30pm.

Valentine's Day! A small group turned up after 5:30pm, run started with about 15 and was later joined by some late comers.

Usual in trail by the water tank factory with the pack anticipating a long run as the hare is known for setting this here. Memories of the hare's last run here, gave some the 'bitter taste' and some the 'edkcuf him! I'll turn back after 30mins!'

Nevertheless, the pack kept going and with some paper hung on some trees had Warranti thinking that it was check rather than a left turn, that had Water Bai and Jes looking for paper without asking 'Where's the check?'. The slow starters but experienced ones saw that it was not a check but a clear trail, gnikcuf the fast starting clowns. It was an uphill climb on a hot day with BumbleBee and KFC trailing at the back getting ready to make a U-turn, which they managed to do without anyone noticing.

The first check was after 2 hills which had the whole pack together and was broken with another short climb and a little downhill towards deeper 'shit' that was laid. It was a good warming up climb with some gasping for air and another climb was revealed upon reaching the top, 'banging the whore from behind'.

It was that this scene and a 'test' climb had Dr Ballcracker and Shopping Queen turning back, where the rest soldiered on to the top to find a steep downhill by the side. It was not an easy downhill, most have to claw their was down singing 'I am a lion! I roar all day! Roar!! Roar!!' to lighten up the tired pack.

The second check was no easy thing and had all in pack before breaking it. The 3rd check was impossible, after wasting the sunlight the pack re-grouped and to find their own way back to run site. Along the way, they stumbled on trail paper about half a km away from checking. This had the whole pack gnikcuf the hare for laying the check beyond 'means'.

It was about 8:00pm and the paper trail was still going in towards and up the 'whore'! The pack then decided to find a another way to runsite to avoid the tedious climbs in darkness. Near the cow sheds, switching on his hunting dog nose, Monster led the way back to run site. All were back by 8:30pm.

Circle was kept short to offset the tiredness and beers were plenty with Viagra and Dipstick chucking in 2 crates even though both were absent. On-on was very near in 'Valentino Cafe' with special Valentine's Day dinner set.

The dinner set was good, especially with the special sambal! Bomba was later on site to douse the 'fire'! More beers and songs by Guitarman to entertain the Valentines. (scribed by No Hair)

More than 60 members and guests turned up for the Golden Bull Run and celebrate Chap Goh Mei the HLH4 way. Runsite was within the serene settings of the fishing ponds. Though the owner allowed us the use of the area, he did not think it appropriate for maidens to throw oranges into the ponds.

It was a simple and straight forward run which was up and down the usual hill. The FRBs were out in about 50mins, while the back pack came out about half an hour later.

The circle took sometime due to the numerous icings and the handing out of ang pau to all present. The OC of the celebrations was rewarded on ice for a fine job. He was also re-appointed as OC for the next CNY do for mentioning about "the missing shorts" and due to Long John Silver's thoughts of the run.

On On onsite started with the Loh Sang.

Some found it confusing when they did not notice the sign boards and drove 'happily' to the usual run site to find an 'apropriate' U-Turn sign that was not taken down early enough for the few who was there. A good joke was on this and had the bunch laughing.

The usual in trail from run site brought all 'slow walking' in while talking about the CNY drinks, food and 'youknowhat'. A short climb and a check had the whole bunch packed in one and was broken to the opposite hill. From here on, some of the trails looked like new ones and some areas looked familiar and some not.

It was not fated to be an easy nor difficult run in this area but some did have a good sweat, for some just nice to wet the balls. "You'll never know what a few good hill climbs and some dekcuf instinct during checking could bring!" but some were complaining about the slippery uphill climbs on the home trai. One even had a fall and by luck, he escaped having his eye poked by some sharpy, 'You must "cheyy meyy or liu" before you pee.'

After run discussion continued with CNY happenings. A group was seen discussing the COW and what it sounds like in Tamil and the different versions of it in Tamil. Later, it was learnt that in Tamil, there are a few words that meant for a cow, an ox, a virgin cow, a calf, so on..... (and later) in Song Lau's "Ox-ford" Tamil dictionary and Bulldozer's "Came-bridge" dictionary provided some good laughs, to rub it in - American Sam and Karu added further to muddle the issue more..all in all it was a COW-Lin instead of 'KauLin' that started the whole thing in the year of the 'madhu'.

Just as the run was about to start that the sky leaked, a real heavy rain was not expected as it was very sunny. Some braved through and some carried umbrellas.

Dipstick and Water Bai started the run before 'the call' as one of them had some back problem while the other 'took advantage' of the other when crossing the drain under the fence. It was still heavy rain when all the reluctants started the run and followed the 2 into some bushes with a small uphill climb to meet a road that was turned into a small river.

Trail papers were missing and some found it on top to the right by the fence and some further down. It was found that many trail papers have been washed away by the heavy rain and many anticipated a dekcuf-up run.

There were a few guys who went down and up to find paper both ways and thought "....dekcuf!! what the hell!! something's wrong!" whereas some who were on paper were not able to break the 3rd check to this trail.

So, there are some who finished the last part of the run and more than half till the 3rd check. If one from each part were in a piggy back position, it would be a complete one! It would have beeen a good run if the heavy rain didn't fall.

Guest Cat was around the run site quite early and upon seeing the Leong brothers driving in at 5:35pm, greeted them with a good big smile. Most of the members trickled in after that followed by the 'LIVE' hare who was supposed to set the run at 5:45pm.

So, at 5:46pm the hare RAN in alone to lay the trail. On-On was called by Jointmaster JPS at 6 sharp. Most started to move for the run except the usuall FROPs who wanted to give the hare, the full benefit of 15 minutes. They then started the chase at 6:01pm just after a discussion to coordinate the breaking of checks, assuming the checks will all be forward checks.

A 5 minutes run in past the workers' quarters to the left hand side hills brought the group to the 1st check. Checking was done for a good 10-15 mins before the check was broken on the right hand side hills with FRBs cursing.

It was a big hill with a steep climb which only allowed a single file for the runners, with some clawing their way. At the top was a good swirl the left and right little downhill before a climb up the rubber estate hill to the other side to meet with another check.

Again the FRBs had a difficult time before it was broken way back by a middle runner. It was another trail running past the usual durian orchard with steep slopes that everyone thought of as the home trail there if a check was up front.

True enough! A circular check was laid with a falsie which had the middle runners screwed with some front runners having to back track to the durian orchard to find the papers connected by the back pack. It was another running trail up hill towards the in-trail by the highway where another check laid near top of the hill.

The Front Running Bastards (FRBs) finally caught up with the pack here and broke the check for the run home, leaving the back pack and middle runners trailling behind walking.

FROP was back on run site around 7:20pm, 15 minutes behind the hare and all were back within 2 hours. Surprisingly, Abraham and Cock Pain were the last home! "Tarak nampak paper!" "Ada betul betul connect, kah?!" "Sudah lari masuk dalam-dalam tapi On-On sana!"

Proven the 'live' hare was good with all tricks thrown in - forward checks, back checks, falsies, circular check with the pack finishing the run.

About 27 members and 3 guests turned up for Touch N Go run at the usual Bandar Tech run site despite a number pf members attending the run celebrating the Royal Selangar Club's 125th year at Bukit Kiara.

The run started at the usual entrance opposite the run site. The run took the hashers around the oil palm and rubber areas before going up the only "mountain" in this area.

There were 4 checks along way. The home trail was a parallel run along the highway out in the factory area.

The hare waited at the factory area surprising the hashers coming out with a beautiful black T-shirt. The FRB was out in about 1 hour and the last runner out at about 8.00p.m.

On-on on site with Ah Leong fried Kui Tiew.

Some members attending the RSC run came in during the circle.

Jessie was on ice for not wearing the T-shirt given by the hare.
No hair was on ice twice for calling Advisor Song Lau's phone while he was conducting the circle and for picking up the Christmas run's sign board too soon (less than 24 hours) before the OC for the run could retrieve them.
Silent Dragon was on ice for eating durian picked up on the run.

The turnout was about 50 members and guests. It was raining since morning in all parts of the Klang valley but it had stopped for the hashers to enjoy a good run.

The trail from the carpark in front of the school at this first time runsite led through some muddy clearings and the hanging bridge across the river to the first check. After some confusion over a falsie, it was broken on the left leading to the foothill of the only hill visible here and the second check.

This was broken on the right and led up the hill for a roughly half an hour climb. Before reaching the summit, the trail turned right and led along the terrace. The papers then swung left uphill at site of some soil erosion, and thereby pulled the FROPs to another check.

This was broken way down on the right for the long and treacherous descend. A cicular check at the flats caught of the FROPs offguard. The papers then led back to the in-trail for the cross over on the hanging bridge and back to runsite.

The back pack completed the run in about 2 hours.

On On onsite - the caterer, Cock Pain, kept the hashing hungry for a longer time as he went on a jolly drive along Jalan Hulu Langat.

New boots welcomed and 'commissioned' -
B Chai as 'Lee Chai' and Kehar Singh as 'Water Bayi'.

Song Lau had the honor of being the 1st on Ice in 2009.

As the Mis Management Team prefer members to be appropriately attired on some occassions, they gave all members and guests this freebie.

19 members and 3 guests turned up for the run, with what expected to be a low turn out became better as most are caught in traffic congestions. Also, some 'natives' (monkeys) showed up trying to 'grab some freebies' as Shopping Queen later revealed to salute the hare.

Run started by usual 'biggest shot', OnCash Silent Dragon at 6 with Cat jumping all about requesting to pay guest fees later after the run to check out if the run's worth in terms of discount.

All were on the trail that took the first hill climb on the right that was a little slippery and concerns of the little sucking buggers. From the top, the paper trail led downhill with some 'slip and slide' fun followed by a steep climb that changed the fun mood into growls, the hare had some good laughs on this.

It was after this climb that had everyone on some flat trails for a timely 'rest' before ascending to some rubber estate followed by a short climb with a checking laid on top for all to view the nice scenery of Rawang town. Having finished with the ultra short rest, the front runners broke the check with what seemed to be a home trail but was 'hello-d' by a few lorry mechanics upon reaching their 'work yard' and passing through to find another climb to a small hill followed by another climb to a bigger hill and finally on the downhill home traill.

It was no easy downhill as the trail have not been used for some time and slippery cement steps had everyone on a cautious mode with '4X4' engaged. At the bottom, reaching the well kept garden/river/camp site area, all were on the tarmac road for about 1.5km to run site. Front runner home in 55mins and last in/out in about 2hrs.

Circle was kept short for it was a 'long way from home' but with some fun with the ice:

William 'Kelam Kabut' - can't answer why there were traffic congestions; Ricky 'Ular' - by chance found the restaurant for On-On even before the run starts, over shot the turn in to run site due to small signage, a bit hungry as well;
Viagra and Siau - taking sweet time to shower;
Cat - demanding guest fee discount again;
Shopping Queen - non-starter;
Tsunami and Gigi Putih - asking HashBard to move the box so that she could sit nicely in place behind beau's 4X4;
and ... (Blackout - still celebrating Christmas.)

On-On was in a restaurant further up run site : W&W Restaurant, Jalan Rawang; hare was 'on-downed' for a good run and good food. (scribed by No Hair)

More then 40 members and guests turned up to celebrate Christmas the Hulu Langat H4 way.

The run was the usual trail past the fishing ponds. Then a slow walk up the hill. The 2nd check pulled the FROPs to the top before it was broken lower down on the left. Another short climb before the descend through the rubber.

It was down all the way and out through the usual home trail. The FRBs were out before the hour. A couple of members felt it was way too short for them, so they did another round on the same trail.
