Run: 844 Hare: Cock Pain Venue: Bukit Idaman Selayang Cohares: ...

The hare Cock Pain The heavy downpour in the late afternoon in the Klang Valley coupled with the distance of the runsite from home base may have discouraged some members.

About 13 arrived in time and nine went in for the run in heavy drizzle. 3 made a u-turn at the water tank near the condominiums when they could not find a way in through the fencing.

The rest, Long John, Silent Dragon, Blood Donor, Kiki Lala, ABC and Pengsan, soldiered on in the rain which came down in sheets a short while into the run. The heavy rain, the slippery tracks, the darkness in the forest and inadequate or washed away trail markers hampered a timely exit for these six hash men. They finally managed to find they way out near the FRIM boundary and followed the road back to runsite arriving at about 8.40pm.

Another 7 members turned up later to make up the numbers for the circle and to finish weekly quota. On On onsite with the hare's famous seafood porridge.

It was also made known that the hare would be laying off hashing for a while until he gets some reliable help in his business. (Note his new 'running' shoe in the pix above) His considerate other half will, however, continue hashing with us.

Run: 843 Hare: Dipstick Tsunami Venue: Pajam Cohares: ...

The hare Tsunami The drive to the run site was 'A-MISS' for many who had to call for directions because the signs were not 'exact'.

It should have been: after exiting the LEKAS highway at the Pajam exit, pay RM2.80 toll, head to traffic lights to turn right. Travel some 3km forward and before reaching another set of traffic lights about 10m - turn right to a small road.

Follow the road and go forward on all junctions till you reach the oil palm estate. Anyway, signs were far too small and not enough.

Parked by the road in the oil palm estate near the Orang Asli village. The hare engaged some co-hares who further enlisted some 'mercenaries' to set the run.

It a different trail from that of HHH's as the in-trail cut across to the small veggie farm and headed towards the lesser hill of the 1700ft hill range. The first check was just after the farm and which was broken forward uphill with some good single file paths.

The second check was also a forward which had the pack going for the so called 'killer climb'. It was steep - about 60deg slope with thick bushes. 3rd check was almost at the top and also broken forward. From the top it was all the way run down on the steep slopes of this hill till reaching the high tension pylon.

Running past that we hit the 'abandoned' orchard hills still running downhill all the way till the oil palm estate where we parked. FROP 1hr5mins, last one was rescued by Dipstick Gang and came out just before 2030hrs.

What happened in the circle? We just heard some loud singing while escorting Rocky.

OnOn was in Bandar Teknologi Kajang, one of the new restaurant for hash as the few usual ones were closed for 'baby's fullmoon celebration' and 'restaurant makeover'. OnOnOn - Ah Wai shop!

Hash Flash didn't have his flash with him.

(From KL travel along Jalan Ipoh. Go underpass the elevated roundabout near Batu Caves. After pasar borong which is on your left, and just after a Caltex station, keep left and go up the ramp. Keep left and head towards Selayang hospital. Keep right after Selayang hospital. Turn right at traffic lights and look out for HLH4 signs on your left)

Run: 842 Virgin Hare: So Seow Hooi Venue: Sg Tangkas Cohares: Bulldozer, Kiki, Heny, Maria

The hare So Seow Hooi About 30+ members turned up. It was a simple straight forward run with the FROP coming out within the hour and the back pack about 15 mins later. Water Bai who went in late came out at around 7.30pm.

The Circle, started late, was kept short by JPS on the box with just 3 icings and allowing a joke each from Long John and Ricky Ular.

Run: 841 Hare: Guat Ling Venue: Bukit Hatamas Cohares: No Hair, Amelia, Yee Mai

Guat Ling About 30 members turned up at the runsite just below the water tank. Much to the surprise of many, the in-trail was on the left as one faced the hillslope.

It started with a walk and a climb, a check and a downhill trek till the river. Then another steep climb to a dead end where a check with a falsie was laid. Going up again a back check at the quarry.

From there, the papers went up the laterite road to reach a 'bathing post' and another steep climb till the ridge which gave to few hashers making up thus far a beautiful view of Kg Cheras Baru and Bukit Hatamas.

The papers then led past a 'recreational area' where many people were seen 'exercising'. From there abouts, it was all the way downhill, through some slippery steep slopes and thick thorny bushes.

The FRB was out in 1hr5mins while the rest came trickling out 15mins later.

On On onsite - Hassan catering.

Run: 840 Occassion: AGM Run Venue: Sri Haneco Hares: Guitarman, No Hair, Yee Mai

The hares, Guitarman Yee Mai and No Hair It was a rain cooled evening when about 50 members and a good many 'invited' guests gathered beside the fishing pond. The trail took the runners through the clearing to the usual in trail at the foothill. But instead of immediately going up, the papers took a trail on the right.

The first check still at the foothill was broken further along the path on the right. This was where some SCBs decided to go up the hill thinking that the trail would swing back on the hilltop. But the trail went pass the vegetable and around the back of the hill.

From the back it was a slow climb to the top. From the top, the papers led down all the way back to the vegetable patch and back to home on the in-trail.

The FRB was out within the hour and the back pack half an hour later. Five smart alec members and a dog in avoiding the only climb of the run, ended elsewhere and returned by cab around 8.30pm.

The circle was long - it was the Annual General Meeting - so must be long even though the most talking was done the 'Erection Commissioner'. The elections was conducted by SMC of Kajang Hash and assisted by the GMs and reps of Kajang H3, Cheras H4, Mount Kiara H4 and others.

The principal members elected to the MisManagement Team for 2009/2010. (Picture amended 02/09/2009 to reflect correct positions)

Run: 839 Hare: Gigi Putih Venue: Bandar Tech Kajang Cohare: Bulldozer

(Updated 21/08/2009)

About 20+ hashers turned up for the run. A number of our members joined the Cheras 9th anniversary run in Sri Haneco.

But some of them miss HLH4 so much that they returned in time to join our run while some others made it for the circle and on on. Some members who registered for the CH4 run also preferred to run with HLH4.

It was also good to see SAGoh back form Doha on holiday to join us for the run. He was worried that he could not complete the run as he had not been running for the past one year. Anyway he managed to make it although coming out a bit late.

KH3 was also having their run sited here at Bandar Tech, as a result there were some paper criss-crossing and mixed up at one check-point when the On-On was called.

The run started at the usual in-trial opposite the run site. (KH3 runsite was at our rotation runsite). After a short distance to the first check, every one was surprised to see most of the oil palm area had been leveled for some construction work and the check was at the open leveled area.

It took some time for the hashers to break the check at the end of the clearing. The trail took the hashers to the rubber area. The 2nd check also took some time for the back runners to break as the FRB did not wait for the paper to be connected. At the same check KH3 also broke their check here and so much so there much cuntfusion as the calls of On On were heard from every corner.

After a short climb, the long home trial took the hashers to the edge of the Kajang/Semenyih highway following the fence with a lot of up and down and bushes. The trial led the hashers back through the factory site.

Circle was hosted by Guitarman and was short. On-On was at a new restaurant at the top of Sg. Chua where you can see Kajang Town and Bukit Mewah. We had three full tables and the envirounment was nice, food tasty and a good place for a drink.

(Original posting)

The Cherasians who were celebrating their 9th Any at Sri Haneco robbed our run of some of the regulars, especially the few regulars who contribute to this website. So no scribe of the run set by 'white teeth' and no flashes of the circle.

But this much is known. The turnout was normal despite the Any run by CH4. And probably due to the many cummplaints of runs here being "easy", "short", "not interesting", "predictable", the hare and co-hare decided to make a difference.

The FRB, Showtime, was out in about 1hr 30mins. Apparently he had missed, skipped, overshot or bypassed one check. The FROPs on the other hand came out about 20mins later. Their attributed the delay to the home trail being laid through some creepy, bushy and thick undergrowth and furthermore in the dark.

On On was a 3-table affair at a previously unknown restaurant deep in Sg Chua.

Next Run: No 840 Date: 22/08/2009 Occassion: AGM Run Venue: Sri Haneco

PS: At the AGM - what to expect?

There will be ...

- a meeting for ROS purposes.
- a chance for some to do some talking.
- some complaints to put forward.
- some stories to listen to on the poor state of our kitty.
- some new rules to be announced.
- objections to any sub increase.
- and maybe, to make it more or else complete, elections and voting.
- half hearted arguments by some who don't want to be nominated.
- And after all these, we will get down to the serious stuff of downing more beers.

8th Rotation Run - Pictures

Finally, the 8th Rotation Run hosted by HLH4 rehashed in pictures.

The Onacceptable delay attributed to:

- it took about a week for the hash flashes to get sober and recall where they had left the cameras.

- another week for them to cull some shots before allowing their spouses to view.

- a few days in transit to the compiler.

- another few days for the Bloody compiler to view, sort, relabel and burn to a CD. Oh, too big and too many, so re-burn to dvd.

- about 2 weeks for webmaster to view, select and re-size.

- one week to upload (due to the connection speed?).

Big hand to all who were the cause of the delay.

Run: 838 Hare: Pengsan Venue: Bukit Besi Cohares: ...

The runsite by the bungalows was windy and nice which would be for a limited time before the occupants move in. Not many members were around for this run as some had 'Sudahbayar' trip to the PanIndo Hash.

The usual trail up by the well trodden path, which this neighbourhood residents use, till the top to meet the first check. As usual it was a back check to the right to get on to the trail going down hill to the small ‘waterfall’.

A different story was unfolding that day as the second check was broken with the trail that brought us to the quarry and towards Taman Orkid. Some good running in between the trails were interesting and had the FROPs screwed on the 3rd check just before the road leading to the tower.

It was a good run on that road till the station on top. Then, it was all the way down from the top through the newly bulldozed area but the hare had 'some fish left' and left the last check which was easily picked up.

A few hellos with the Indonesians around here who were all well dressed for their romp in the city and doggie Hash barking madly due to the sweet perfumed air. It was like a 'Al-Wadi' slide view when going down the storm drain till the 'big steps' which had Warranti aching from the knees.

The FROPs took 1hr10mins to finish the run and ChaCha was the last to come in after arriving late. A total of 11 finished the run, 3 SCBed, 4 'came, saw, sat, waited and drank'.

OnOn was on site with specially delivered claypot rice by an Animale member who has his shop nearby - chicken/salted fish & black pepper. Drinks were plenty.

Run: 837 Hare: Ice CooLeng Venue: Bandar Tech Kajang SubCons: Abraham, RatTail

(Updated 07/08/2009 with new pix by Hash Flash)

Hare Ice CooLeng Attendance were about 30 members who certainly were not arrested IF they had participated in the Anti or Pro ISA march earlier in the afternoon in Kuala Lumpur.

The runsite was at the watertank factory near Taman Harmoni. It was a leisurely walk in and up to the 1st check. This took a while to follow through as the one who broke it, our usual sweeper for celebration runs, just kept on honking at each "R U" instead of calling "On On".

The trials were mainly runners' trails which led to the 'Bandar Tech Whore' climbing from the orchard side. Coming down, the papers led to the trail linking to Sg Tangkas where the check took a while to break. This was followed by a circlar check which seemed to lead back to the 'Whore'.

How the back pack was relieved when the papers turned left to hit back home avoiding a possible 2nd cumm on the 'Whore'.

FRB was out in 1hr 20mins while the late Cummers were out half an hour later.

Run: 836 Hare: Nokia Venue: Sg Jelok SubCons: No Hair, ...

The Hare Nokia Simple run was laid with a big loop back to run site but the start was with a killer climb that took the first 'victim' - the co-hare (long time didn't run and too much drinking) just after the first check. It was to the top on the first hill behind the workers' huts.

At the top, on the ridge another check was laid and some short back check broken with some ease but some packs were lost on paper and led by Gigi Putih to turn home not on paper. A run on wide single file paths at the bottom of the hill to meet the 3rd check which was also broken easily.

It was run, run and run till the 'usual' durian orchard where some had took the path to the right to short cut home (led by Blood Donor) and many did continue forward to some more running before meeting the last check near a hut with 'cili padi' plants. A falsie caught some runners who connected it with paper BUT did not collect back, confusing some back packs who had mobile phone out to locate the trail.

The last pack (led by Chickadee & Warranti) could not find the last trail and turned back to the durian orchard to take the path back. All in before 2000hrs with the front in 1hr15mins (KelamKabut, Dipstick & ABC). A thorny home trail stories with some bleeds on shins and calves.

2 guests were present with Maria, who is going to be a member soon, and Bai Bising (the co-hare that 'punctured'). A good handful members went to reccee in the northern part of the country but the turn up was still good.

Ice-d:
Toddy Today The hare, Nokia - multiple times, did not set the run and short cut back, did not prepare and bring food, did not bring extra beers, did not put up the hash signs, did not plan for it either. 'That's what the contractor is for!' Only brought 2 big bottles of 'Ramasamy's product' (pix)
Micheal - 'dog torturer', training Hash but letting him run from the highway to run site.
Gigi Putih - mumbling bard
HongKong Bai - promised to finish this run but failed to do so
KikiLala - training new SCBs
LeeChai - newly trained SCB
Beerman Choo - chickened out on this run knowing No Hair setting run
Ular - KPC
Monster & Nokia - finger pointing as to who left the bar of soap on cunt-plainee's car
(hey! no ladies were on ice again! they have been careful and nice. even BumbleBee did not pluck any cili-padi this time.)

The circle ended with more beers and food to go. OnOn on site by the Brothers' Beers and Caterers (even Joachim liked the extra spicy fish in sambal!) The crowd was on site till about 12 with some beers for 'tah-pow'.

Run: 835 Hare: Siew Yoon Choy Venue: Nuclear Agency (JPJ Bangi) Cohares: JPS, Heny, Maria

The Hare 'Reject' Some had gone to sample the 'Banana' and some may have gone to contribute hard earned money to the poor 'Red Devils' who were in town. Nevertheless, about 30 members turned up at this 'long not run' runsite. The last run here was probably set by JPS on 3/9/2005.

The trails were all on clean, wide and open areas with gradual slopes. The few loops allowed the back pack to keep up as and when the FROPs were visible in front.

The return trail was by the fencing of the nuclear center but the hares were very kind, they avoided the full climb along the fence.

FRB was out in 1hr while Short Circuit guided a first time guest out at about 7.40pm.

The hare was hash named "Reject". On On onsite.

The hare JPS A very rare occassion when there were more Holes (15) to Poles when the run started. Some of our members had gone for the Danau Toba Any Run which was a 'Poles Only' event.

Even before one could finish saying 'Guns n Roses', the first check was reached just before the ponds. A back check to the usual out trail which gave all hashers a good warm-up under canopy.

The second check was just before the climb and from then on, the trial kept going up all the way to the top. It was a near 1hr uphill hike for the back pack.

From the top, the trail led all the way down and home with the checks being broken quite fast.

FRB in 1hr 5mins while the back pack was out around 7.35pm.

Run: 833 Occassion: 8th Rotation Run hosted by HLH4 Venue: Bandar Technology Kajang SubCons: Long John Silver, No Hair

8th Rotation Run Logo More than 500 hashers turned up for this annual run and gathering of hashers from the Cheras H4, Kajang H3, Mount Kiara H4 and Hulu Langat H4.

A warm up aerobic session led by some Holes preceded the run. About a quarter of hashers decided to skip the run to savour the ice-cold Scoll beer which was free flowing as soon as the run started.

The Hashing trails in over-run Bandar Tech are usually non-descriptive and uneventful but hares Long John and No Hair ensured a good run and, of course, the infamous 'Whore' was not missed.

The FRB on paper, a guest from Mambau Hash, was out in an hour and thirty minutes while the rest trickled out over the next two hours. It was heard about 8.30pm, that there were still more 50 hashers trying their luck with 'The Whore'.

The partying officially closed around 12 midnight but with the beer still flowing, many stayed back for another couple of hours.
