A good turnout on this hot and dry day. As mentioned frequently before, a run at 'one hill' Bandar Tech can rarely be different. Note the word 'rarely'. The run last week was described as short and one member even termed it as a "pussy run". This week it started out appearing to be a reverse of last week's run but that's where any similarity ends. Of course, we visited the 'BandarTech Whore' but this time it was a different position. And in this position, 'Cumming' down was not easy, it was either you slide or roll down.
One maybe forgiven for thinking that the sub-con for this run, who also helped set last week's run, was pissed off by last week's comments. Cause, from that hill, the trail took the runners probably another 5 km to hit home. The first out in 1 hr 40 min whereas it took the last one 2 hours and 50 mins to complete.
On On onsite with 'Thangga restaurant'.

Hashing in the Rain
One Saturday after lunch, the harrier and his wife snuggled up in bed for a nap. An hour later, the harrier got up, dressed quietly, grabbed his hashing bag and gear and slipped quietly out to his car. As he drove out from his driveway, the skies open up and let loose a torrential downpour. But in true hashing spirit he continued in the rain.
But as soon as he turned onto the main road, he heard over the radio that the road leading to the runsite was blocked by a huge fallen tree and that it may take hours to be cleared. So he turned back home thinking its no point sitting it out in the car.
On reaching his house, he parked his car and went in. Quietly stripped off his clothes and slipped into bed. Cuddling up to his wife now with a different anticipation, he whispered "the weather out there is terrible". And the wife sleepily replied ... "Can you believe my stupid husband is out hashing in that shit?"

Hare: Lim U I Venue: Taman University Sg Tangkas Off Jalan Reko
About 70 (including the 15 odd supporters from Mambau Hash) turned up for UI's virgin run. The comments of the run were varied. Ballcracker found himself on Kajang's trail and ended up at Bandar Tech where he had to call for his kereta sapu (private taxi). Evergreen Rocky landed at the golf course and had to walk the 8km back to runsite.
On On on site with the hare's hubby cooking the dishes on site. The PISS was non stop with the numerous sponsors from the crowd.

Mr Turner Brown
A skinny little guy goes on his first hash run as a guest. Arriving at the 2nd check, he finds himself all alone and not knowing what to do, he takes a breather. Soon he hears footsteps, turning around he comes face to face with a huge tough looking seasoned hasher who says "On On". But the skinny guy just looks at the hasher. The seasoned hasher, noticing this guy starring at him, stops and says "6 foot 7, 220 lbs, 8 inches, Turner Brown."
Hearing this, the skinny guy falls down. The hasher quickly kneels down to help him and asks "Whats wrong with you?" In a weak voice, the little guy says, "What what EXACTLY did you say to me?
The big sized hasher says, "I saw the curious look and figured I'd just give you the answers to the questions everyone always asks me. I'm 6 feet 7 inches tall, I weigh 220 pounds, I have a 8-inch cock and my name is Turner Brown."
The small guys says, "Turner Brown?! ... Whew, Thank God! I thought you said, "Turn around!"

Hare: Tony Tan Venue: Sunway Semenyih
About 50 members turned up for this very well set run which was devoid of the usual "up down, up down" of the hills found in this area. A slippery trail with about 4 to 5 stream crossings (same stream though) and ending with a gentle climb. On On on site with food cooked and dished out by the hare's better half.

Hare: Warranti Venue: Bukit Angkat, Sg Chua
It was heard that about 15 members attended this quick run and that the beer allocation was all consumed at the Down Down and finished off at the 'triple On' later that night where our Jointmaster was OnDowned.
No one turned up in a Tux for the triple On nor was anyone in a Hash T-shirt.

About 50 members turned up for this run. As it was Christmas at Hululangat, a short and sweet run was set with just one climb up 110 meters. All were back home by 7.30pm for the celebrations. On On on site with BBQ lamb, turkey, salted shortleg and non-stop flow of the favourite drink. A Christmas celebration is never complete without the usual carols with Bastian on guitar and harmonica, Song Lau on vocals and the chorus by the others.

Hare: Rachel Lim Venue: CyberJaya
About 40 members managed to find they way to this runsite at Cyberjaya. OnCall sounded by GM on time. It was just skids and falls for most part until the runners(skidders) hit the home trail. The falls were broken by thorny creepers. Oh and not to forget the bees or wasps or hornets along the way. From then it was a long run, walk and crawl for some till home. 1st runner out at 7.05pm and last out - Jessie and Peter who were 'rescued' at about 9.15pm. ON ON on site catered by Hassan. The trail is sketched on this Google Earth map.

No notable celebration runs in the Klang valley this evening, so a turnout of more than 50 for Cock Pain's virgin run. Again Mambau Hash showed their preference for a good Saturday run, at HLH4 as always. First runner on paper coming out at 7.05pm showed that a balanced trail was set.
On On onsite with some good food prepared, cooked and dished out by the hare himself. The partying carried on till 2.00am with non-stop flow of the golden fluid but not before it was gatecrashed by our men in blue who came in two patrol cars. It appeared that the sight of so many hashers and so many cars in this new runsite caused some jitters in the nevous nearby residents who then called the police.
No Down Down pics as our Jointmaster was too preoccupied with the preparations for his big day that he overlooked to charge battery, camera battery that is (his is always charged, so we are told).
Announcement: Run on 30/12/2006 - Venue changed to Bukit Angkat in Sg Chua and OnCall will be at 5.00pm NOT 6.00pm. This is to enable HLH4 members to attend Jointmaster's big day (or should it be his daughter's BIG day).

Adam & Eve's forbidden Fruit
There has been much discussion on the type of fruit that Eve had taken which resulted in Adam and Eve being sent away from the Garden of Eden. After much research and search, it was finally discovered to be growing in the garden of a HLH4 member.
You may view this fruit here.

Hare: Anson Lim Venue: Cheras Awana
When this webreporter arrived at the runsite at 7.30pm, there were about 15 members just milling around waiting for the 1st runner on paper. Much to the relief for their thirst for beer, Andy came trotting out at about 7.45pm followed by some 14 others a few minutes apart. Cha Cha backtracked reaching home at 8.30pm. Again a Klang valley chapter having their celebration run robbed us of a good attendance.
So how was the run? Well the following were overheard. "The trail went up and up and up the hill and kept going up."Before we reached the top, we could sense the trail would hit left for the down trail home." "So we decided to go that way." "We met Kajang, they also lost." "Coming down the hill, we saw our paper." "Why they take that way, go this way and come the other way, very easy mah." "Very slippery one." "I was so scared." (pardon the quality of cellphone pics)
